Dr. Patrick R. Koren is of counsel to our law firm. He is a Registered
Patent Attorney before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Dr.
Koren’s works closely with clients in a wide range of technologies:

Fortran, UNIX, embedded operating systems, real time
programming, preemptive multithreading and synchronization,

Background
Dr. Koren has a passion for science and engineering and received in-
depth formal education in mathematics, computer, physics and
chemistry. His industrial experience as an engineer in radar systems,
avionics, GPS system provides him with further understanding of both
hardware and software components of these cutting edge
technologies.
Therefore, Dr. Koren is well suited to combine his technical knowledge
and practical intuition when preparing and prosecuting patent applications related to telecommunication,
information technology,
and electrical engineering. His success in assisting applicants, together
with his friendly temperament, makes him a favorite person among his
clients and colleagues.
Dr. Koren appreciates family time with his wife and their daughter. He
also enjoys cooking, sailing, and gardening, while he is fine-tuning his
skills as a self-taught tailor.
