- Chemical (dental bleaching composition and method that includes laser enhancing particles and
pH modifier, process for producing high density polyethylene (HDPE) that is suitable for blow moulding
of household and industrial containers (HIC))
- Information Systems (A process for operating an automatic emergency device for a pilot seat
ejection system using a microprocessor, or other on-board computer, and avionic sensors to sense an
irreversible catastrophic or dangerous situation, method of passively determining the depth of a spatial
or temporal anomaly occurring beneath the terrain or water surface of the earth and in the vicinity of a
location of interest)
- Business Methods (advertising system for displaying images on a series of offset stationary
vertical surfaces using a plurality of substrates, each having a layer of printed indicia on a surface
thereof in combination with the series of offset stationary vertical surfaces to provide a desired
overall visual image
- Licensing and Enforcement (licensing and commercialization of technology, protection and
enforcement of IP rights, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, monitoring of competitor’s
patent filings)
- International Law (analysis of international transactions, compliance of U.S. and International
treaties, including the Patriot Act)
- Mechanical (An automatic emergency device actuation/release system for an aircraft, optical
components capable of coupling the radiation into and out of the optical fibers, pillow securing device
for hospital bed, electrode holder for electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes)
- Biomedical device, assays and treatments (hypodermic syringe with retractable needle mount,
method for cementing an implant into bone by placing an auto-polymerizing cement, novel antibody that is
used in immunoassays of components reflecting body fluid levels of 5-hydroxytryptophol, assay method for
the detection of cardiovascular disease, treatment of tumors by arginine deprivation)
- Industrial Processes (Optical; photonic; and optoelectronic materials; metals and metallurgy;
light-emitting devices; ceramics; semiconductor materials; surface chemistry; nanoscale materials,
including nanotube science, biomedical materials, composites, and building materials)
- Trademark (registration of trademarks, service marks, trade dress, collective marks, collective
marks, certification marks, business names, logos, slogans, domain names, product packaging and
configuration, and website design)
- Litigation and Arbitration (litigation at state and federal courts and administrative
proceedings at the U.S. Customs, U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and International Trade Commission, and
alternative dispute resolutions)
Background
Ms. Orzechowski has combined her natural strength with technologies and her in-depth training in intellectual
property law in a successful manner. Her commitment to excellence is manifested in her drive to attend and
graduate from law school while working full-time as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Ms. Orzechowski and her husband are proud parents of their three children. In her spare time, she enjoys
